The Simmons Family Legacy started in Jedburg, South Carolina with our Patriarch and Matriarch, the Late Reverend Mose Simmons and Mother Eva Simmons. From this union, thirteen children were born, of which twelve survived.

Mary, Mose Jr., Joseph, Samuel, Annabelle, Nathaniel, Inez, Geraldine, Daniel, Eva Mae, Allen, and Margaret. From this nucleus there was exponential growth, increasing the family count to what is now called the 12 Tribes of Jedburg.

Although three of these siblings have passed on and resting with Jesus, we still remember them, their love, and contribution to our family.

Gone, but not forgotten from our presence are:

Nathaniel, Mary, and Samuel.

We celebrate, and commemorate our Patriarch and Matriarch for their unwavering love and support provided to all of us until they passed away. Additional family history will be posted on each tribe’s link, so be sure to visit. We are Family!

God has blessed this family with many diverse gifts such as preaching, singing, musicians, gifts of help, entrepreneurial acumen, planners, military service, entertainment industry, and so many more gifts.
